Doodles People Draw Without Realizing It Are The Key To Understanding Hidden Thoughts

Occasionally, while bored or simply out of instinct, we start doodling something that doesn’t seem to make any sense.

These squiggly lines on a piece of paper in front of us show, once more, that the subconscious emerges in mysterious ways to give us a glimpse of our personality. Here, we’ll list the main types of doodles we tend to draw and the possible relationship with our personality. What do you draw most often?

Human-like shapes or people.

It seems odd, but if your doodles depict little, stick-figure people, it’s possible that you feel helpless or have low self-esteem.

Your signature.

This is a fundamental characteristic of egocentric people. If you ever find yourself repeatedly scribbling your signature, it’s possible that you’re too caught up in your own problems and only consider them to be important. It would be good for you to think about something else and broaden your horizons a little.

Geometric shapes: squares and diamonds.

This shows confidence and organization. But also a little inflexibility and stubbornness.

Circles and dots.

If the circles are joined with others, forming groups, you’re possibly feeling isolated and your subconsciousness displays this by creating links on the piece of paper.

Animals.

If it’s recurring, you may admire, respect or feel identified by the character of the animal you draw. Once again, the egocentric person will draw tigers, panthers or wolves which demonstrate power and strength in the eyes of others.

Spirals or curved lines.

This has to do with digression and possibly emotional instability. You go back and forth, worried and focused on your own problems.

Arrows.

Arrows indicate the present direction of your emotions. If you’re thinking about the future, then your arrows will be pointing forward. If they’re pointing to the left, you probably aren’t totally satisfied with something you’ve done. Pointing up shows openness and reaching out to others; pointing down means the opposite.

Little stars.

Stars are bright and attractive. Depending on the number of lines you draw, you’ll see how much attention you’re looking for. These kinds of doodles are related to a lack of attention, or in some cases, mild depression.

Flowers, clouds, and sun rays.

You may be in a happy moment or have a positive personality. This type of drawings reveals that you feel happy and content.

Crosses.

Guilt often manifests itself via these hard, straight lines. They can also indicate concern about the well-being of somebody close.

Little houses and symmetrical boxes.

Symmetry almost always indicates an orderly, inflexible person, who may think he or her can never be wrong.

Many squares or complex rectilinear figures.

They display concern or a lack of clarity regarding dealing with a situation. They also represent doubts or fears.

Beehives.

These drawings are related to harmony, perfection, and order. If you draw beehives or organic, orderly shapes, then it’s possible you’re in a happy moment, where things simply seem to flow in the right direction.
