100 percent Kaadhal Review

Star Cast : GV Prakash, Shalini Pande
Director : MM Chandramouli

The Telugu version of 100 percent love worked mainly because of Sukumar’s enjoyable writing. The lead pair, songs and milieu worked in favour of Telugu audiences. But in this Tamil remake,  the lead actors look stupid, doing stupid things while stupidly trying to convince themselves and others that they’re doing it for love.

100 percent Kaadhal is filled with many such regressive lines, and we wonder how GV Prakash agreed to do such a film. And are our audiences are still obsessed over midriff exposing heroines?

Balu Mahendra (GV Prakash) is a topper of his college. Everything goes well for him until his cousin Mahalakshmi (Shalini Pandey) joins the same college. They even stay together as Balu’s dad takes care of the education expense of Mahalakshmi. Initially, Mahalakshmi struggles to adapt herself to the college but slowly with the help of Balu, she becomes the topper. Now, there erupts a war-of-words between the love as both are on an ego trip!

From the word go, everything is silly and unbearable. GV Prakash who looked promising in his last two films (Sivappu Manjal Pachai and Sarvam Thaala Mayam) is a misfit and Shalini Pandey disappoints. While the story and presentation is outdated, the production values, cinematography and the acting are all horrible.

It looks like director MM Chandramouli and his team has taken audiences for granted. Every time you see GV Prakash on a bike, the poorly done graphics in the backdrop just irritates you.We are going to skip rating this film. Yes, this is that kind of awful film which make you wonder how a film like this was made in the first place.
