How Emotional Stress Affects Your Spine! Very Valuable Info!

In the mid-twentieth century, Western doctors proved that negative emotions contribute to the faster development of many diseases. The correlation between psychological conditions and bodily disorders is called psychosomatics.

Unlike Western doctors, Chinese specialists believed for many centuries that there is a strong connection between the body and emotions. Therefore, when they start treating the body, they work in parallel with the patient’s emotional health.

Scoliosis occurs to prevent a person from breaking down

It’s true though it sounds like a paradox.  Due to the psychosomatic nature of diseases, constant negative emotions make pressure on a person. To somehow minimize the negative consequences, the body adjusts to this pressure.

This is what happens when scoliosis develops. The exact reasons for the development of this deformation remain unknown to the science world.

Chinese doctors believe that scoliosis mostly develops in children living in families where psychological pressure prevails. Here is an example of such a family. A 14-year-old boy, vulnerable and tender, grew up in a family where he was brought up by his grandfather, a former military man. The grandfather had his own view of his grandson’s education, which caused the grandson’s constant negative emotions.

Scoliosis progressed with each year. After the grandfather had died, the boy’s condition greatly improved: the pain in his back and head gradually went away. Besides, his overall health became stronger.

Adult family members may not notice the pressure, but if your child’s spine is twisted, this is a serious reason to think about the situation at home. The body of the child takes a blow to itself to prevent him from a psychological “break-down”.

The spine literally sags under emotional pressure. This allows the child to keep the inner rod. As a rule, those with scoliosis are strong and willful people. They straighten their shoulders when pressure weakens. They have every chance to restore their health, although it is believed that scoliosis is difficult to treat.

Typical symptoms

Here are some more symptoms of the disease, which can easily go away when the patient corrects the physical problem and works out the emotions.

>> Neck – The neck is successful women’s weakest point. Although people speak a lot about social equality, it is still difficult for women to cope with leadership responsibilities. All difficult tasks are manifested in the form of pain and tension in the cervical region. That is why there exist expressions like “an unbearable burden” or “a big load on the shoulders”.

>> Slouch – A characteristic sign of people prone to melancholy and sadness. These are generally slender and nice-looking people. However, the slouch causes a hump on the back and a bulging stomach. Very often, even when sadness goes away, a person goes on to slouch, which makes him depressed. However, there is a way out of this vicious circle. If a person somehow overcomes the slouch, your emotional condition will drastically change for the better.

>> Cardiovascular diseases often develop due to the chronic stress of the diaphragm. It strains itself in response to emotions. Young people suffering from cardiovascular disorders are mostly people whose work consists in conducting tough negotiations. At the moment of tension, the diaphragm is there to support the body. If the stress becomes chronic, the heart starts to fail.

Listen to yourself

Listen to your emotions and learn to feel the pressure. Try to realize that a lot of diseases are caused by your emotional condition.

Doctors recommend practicing oriental exercies. For example, spinal Qigong exercises improve the flexibility of your spine, helps you control your emotions and listen to your body.

Be healthy and take care of yourself!
