Traffic Ramasamy Review

Star Cast : SA Chandrasekar, Rohini, RK Suresh
Director : Vicky

SA Chandrasekhar is back after a break with a biopic on social activist Traffic Ramasamy.

There is nothing much to talk about the plot of the film, as debutant director Vicky has taken the sequence of events that happened in Traffic Ramasamy’s life. This including how he closed TASMAC shops near schools and place of worship, his day to day activities in regularizing traffic in the city, and how he helped in banning motorcycle fish carts in Chennai. But the screenplay isn't knitted properly and there is a docu-feel along with few unwanted item number and a silly climax.

SA Chandrasekhar is very good as he plays his age and he performs with sincerity. Ambika as the judge nd Rohini as Ramasamy's wife are adequate. There is no backstory behind the social consciousness of Traffic Ramasamy. Though there are many shocking incidents that happened in Traffic Ramasamy’s life, we are unable to feel for his character.

There are few talented actors like Prakash Raj, Vijay Sethupathy, Khushbu, Vijay Antony among others wo does special appearnces. Audiences can buy the book titled ‘One Man Army’ published by Vikatan to know more about Traffic Ramasamy before going to watch the film.
