Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu  Review

Star Cast : Gautham Karthik, Vaibhavi, Shah Ra, Rajendran, Balasaravanan, John Vijay, Madhumitha
Director : Santhosh

Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu is definitely not for the family audiences, the film's director Santhosh has played it to the gallery and just like the virgin ghost in the film, he wants to satisfy his target young audiences and achieved it in style. If you ask us whether Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu works really as a film with textbook screenplay and characterizations? Well, the answer is 'No'.

The biggest rumour about our hero Veera (Gautham Karthik) is that he is a Casanova and his marriage gets postponed because of his past relationships. Finally, a pretty girl Thendral (Vaibhavi) says she likes Veera but before giving her final nod, she proposes a one-week dating plan. Thendral asks Veera to invite his friend and his girlfriend so that the others don't think wrong about them. So Veera, Thendral, the former's friend Vasu (Shah Ra) and his girlfriend Kavya (Yaashika) decide to stay in Thailand for one week.

While all the four expect happy time in Thailand, they aren't aware of the virgin ghost inside the house and it wants to have sex with a virgin boy and after that, the person will also die. Both Veera and Vasu are virgins so the ghost starts torturing them. Can these two boys escape from the virgin ghost?

What really works in Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu is the adult comedy portions, there is no hidden meaning in the dialogues and the director has fully utilized the 'A' certificate tag by explicitly portraying all kinds of stuff which are considered to be a taboo in Tamil cinema. All the girls have been used for skin show, the director also used elements like Bigg Boss troll and gay comedy to entertain his audiences in the second half.

Gautham Karthik looks smart and excels in the dance and comic portions. Despite his stone-faced expressions, Shah Ra scores with dialogue modulation. As said earlier, the girls are only used for glamour quotient.

But the horror factor falls flat, there is no detailing in the characters, you shouldn't even ask about performances of the actors and as a film, this one is a mediocre attempt but if you are looking for uncompromised adult comedy film in Tamil, Iruttu Arayil Murattu Kuthu will definitely satisfy you.
