It is said that the eyes are the window to the soul. They are a thing of complex beauty and can reveal deep secrets about the depth of one’s heart. The test works when one makes that split-second decision, as one’s subconscious knows which eye it chooses. Scientifically speaking, the function of the eye is to observe visual data of the world around one. This is filtered first through one’s subconscious which is responsible for storing and retrieving the data one has collected. By the time it reaches his/her conscious awareness, all this incoming data has already been filtered to fit a program consistent with one’s self-concept.
