What Does The USB Symbol Mean?

Have you noticed the symbol on your USB plug? What does it mean?

The USB has transformed the way people transfer information. There are no official explanation for this symbol and it is called Dreizack.



Here’s what it stands for:

Triangle: Represents serial data (bits 1s and 0s)

    Circle: 5V (the voltage of the USB)

 Square: Represents ground voltage.
