2. Roman Forum
 


The Roman Forum is another important and symbolic historical sight to visit during a trip in central Rome. 4. The Pantheon
 


The Pantheon is arguably the most famous Roman temple. It is situated only a short walk distance from the Roman Forum and is most famous for its huge portico that leads to a circular construction. 6. Circus Maximus
 


Circus Maximus is another historical landmark, situated in a close proximity to the Colosseum.
