These days, audio industry is said to be bleeding as there is no big revenue in CD sales but the Rajinikanth film has given a new hope for people in the audio business.

On the day of the release, 10,000 CDS of Kabali were sold, which is phenomenal and on the second day, Think Music reordered 5000 CDS and among which, 4000 got sold out.

Under just a week, the lyric videos have received a whopping 10 million (and counting) views on YouTube, which has never been seen before, with the highlight of the album ‘Neruppu Da’, nearing four million views.

The album has also been a big hit on other audio streaming platforms like Doopaadoo, Saavn, Gaana, Wynk, Hungama and others, gaining over a million hits on each.
