4. Aiguille du Midi Bridge, France

Again in the Alps, but this time in France you can find another super scary bridge - Aiguille du Midi! This bridge is unique because of its height - 3,842 meters! In Mont Blanc Mountain it connects two vertical cliffs and is short enough that you could easily go to the other end. The very climbing to the bridge is also very scary - tourists can reach it by a cable car that climbs 2,800 metres in 20 minutes, so passing the bridge is the cherry on the top after this breath-taking ride...

6. U Pain Bridge, Myanmar

U Pain Bridge in Mondalay is definitely a place not to miss in Myanmar. The bridge is connecting two shores of the lake of Taungthaman and is one of the longest bridges in the world with wooden deck.  In fact the whole bridge is made of wood! What makes it decent member of top 10 scariest bridges is the fact, that there are no handrails and people have nothing to catch when they feel dizzy of the long distance passed. The fact that it was built about 200 years ago, the length of 1.2 kilometres and the knowledge that it already collapsed in 2008 make it scary enough!

9. Chesapeake Bay Bridge

The length of this bridge is noticeable - 6.3 kilometres, and it connects the Marylands east and west shores. Chesapeake Bay Bridge is quite well secured and vehicles can drive over it safely. Danger comes when weather is bad and visibility is reduced, then drivers can hardly see where they are going and situation becomes quite scary.  Even though the view from the bridge is worth the risk, its incredible length is scary enough!
