An executive assistant holds a key role in the management of an organization, by acting as a support and helper to the executive mangers. Executive jobs are crucial for every firm and almost every firm hires an executive assistant, who carries out various executive and administrative responsibilities. Many firms require a substantial amount of work experience. However, there are still various firms that recruit freshers. The candidate must be skillful in handling power point, word, excel and internet browsers. A degree or diploma in subjects related to business management is preferred in many organizations.

Many organizations also include the job of maintaining complex spreadsheets and databases as a part of the executive assistant responsibilities.
