You can also do some diving with Nelson here, visit Cornwall Beach, go to the Doctors Cave Beach or do some kite boarding.

2. Catoctin Mountain Park, Maryland   



Situated in north-central Maryland, Catoctin Mountain Park is a scenic area and you must come and visit it. The national park service actually manage this park. It really is the perfect spot for hiking. With its forests and picturesque views, you can hike for miles around this mountain park. There are many trails you can follow and in the meantime, you will be improving your health. All of the trails are indeed scenic and you will see so many interesting sights when you walk around the park. Catoctin Mountain Park is beautiful and has so much to offer visitors. You will love it here.

3. Warm Springs, Georgia



This city in Georgia has a tiny population of 478. Its notable feature is the Little White House in which Franklin D. Roosevelt lived during his time as a president. He also died here in the house. Warm Springs is also known for being home to the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation. Although they are not allowed to be used by the general public, it is available to the Roosevelt institute. A few notable residents have lived here in Warm Springs, including Franklin D. Roosevelt, George W. Jenkins and John H. Francis. If you want to see a fair amount of history, come to Warm Springs for your vacation.

4. Bahamas   



Everybody has heard of the Bahamas. It is known for being incredibly stunning with a breathtaking coastline. The beaches in the Bahamas are of course an attraction in themselves. Many tourists come to the Bahamas just for the beaches. However, it is no way surprising and you will agree if you see them for yourself. However, there are some landmarks for you to see whilst you are here apart from the beaches, including The Pompey Museum of Slavery and Emancipation, and Paradise Island. 5. Glenwood Springs, Colorado   



Glenwood Springs is located in Colorado and is unbelievably beautiful and picturesque. It is mainly well-known for its hot springs pool. The three top attractions in Glenwood Springs are the Glenwood Canyon, Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, and Glenwood Caverns. You could have a whole day out at any one of these. The Canyon is great for hiking, biking and rafting; the hot springs are great for a relaxing soak, and the caverns are a sight in themselves. As you would imagine of any location within Colorado, Glenwood Springs is beautiful and it will certainly get you taking plenty of pictures.

6. Hyannis Port, Massachusetts   



The residential village of Hyannis Port is known for housing the Kennedy Compound. It is also the location of other Kennedy residences. So it has a fair amount of history that you may find interesting if you come along to Hyannis Port in Massachusetts. You would not imagine it to be a Head of States Vacation when you see it for yourself. With its tiny post office, little convenience stores and village atmosphere, it is rather too quaint to have connections to the Kennedys. Its quite an unusual place and is so quiet and laid back.

7. Santa Barbara, California   



Santa Barbara is only 100 miles away from Los Angeles. But despite its closeness, it couldnt be more the opposite to that of Los Angeles. With its natural look and mild climate, it couldnt be more different. Its quite a down to earth area. It is home to the Santa Barbara County Courthouse which was built in 1929. Other landmarks include Santa Barbara Mission, Stearns Wharf, and many more. It also has beautiful beaches that you can walk along; it has a great, large coastline. East Beach is its most popular and most well-known beach. There is also a Santa Barbara Visitors Center that you can go in if you need help with where to go. It is also known for its wineries so make sure you put aside some free time to check one out. California is known for great wine.

8. Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts   



This island has now become a popular tourist destination for celebrities. It is indeed stunning. Six towns make up Marthas Vineyard and each one of the towns is in fact governed by a board of selectmen. These selectment are actually elected by the voters of the town. There are also regular town meetings. As a tourist destination, it has rapidly grew. Many visitors come here to see the sights and just to relax among the beauty of the island. 10. Kailua, Hawaii   



Kailua is located in Hawaii and has mainly a residential community. The Kailua substation is ran by the Honolulu Police Department. Again this place is associated with the Winter White House, as is Key West. Barak Obama often visits Kailua for winter vacations.
