5. Shanxi, China

Shanxi Province in China is the next fabulous highlight in this list and, more exactly, one of the most famous historical landmarks - Hanging Monastery. This is a gigantic temple monastery, which is built along the vertical walls of a massive rock. Their panoramic vistas invite a unique sense of a mystery and captivation, especially when you imagine the vision of the ancient people when they built the monastery before nearly 1,500 years. 7. Vecchio Bridge, Florence

Florence is one of the most beautiful historical towns in all over Italy, while nowadays you can reveal its true historical atmosphere only with a short impromptu trip along the banks of River Arno.
