9. Prison Gate Museum

It's quite strange to include a prison in your trip, but a trip to Prison Gate Museum is definitely worth it. A unique location right next to Mauritshuis makes it one of the most tempting sights to visit, while the blue waters of the nearby Hofvijver pond provide another beautiful natural accent. The reddish historic building of Prison Gate Museum is one of the best-distinctive landmarks within the city center, while the interior can tell you much more about the ancient methods of punishment. Overall, a tour within the museum is a unique contrasting way to experience the dark side of the historical legacy of Hague.
