IR BASED EYE BLINK SENSOR
« on: November 05, 2013, 06:21:53 PM »

Description:
The Objective of this project is to develop a system to keep the vehicle secure and protect it by the occupation of the intruders.

Scope:
We can’t take care of ours while in running by less conscious. If we done all the vehicles with automated security system that provides high security to driver, also gives alarm.

Function:
This Eye Blink sensor is IR based , . The Variation Across the eye will vary as per eye blink . If the eye is closed means the output is high otherwise output is low. This to know the eye is closing or opening position. This output is give to logic circuit to indicate the alarm.
This can be used for project involves controlling accident due to unconscious through Eye blink.

now a day’s accidents are increasing at a large pace, and various technologies are being introduced to reduce the accidents.
In this project we provide means of accident prevention using eye blink wherein the vehicle is stopped immediately and intimated wherever needed.

INTRODUCTION

Our project “vehicle accident prevention using eye blink sensor” is used to minimize the accidents due to the drowsiness of the person while driving the vehicle. In our project, by using the monitoring steps accurate detection can be provided to prevent accident.
First is detecting of eye blink moment. If continuously monitoring eye blink moment, the monitoring stage is over the collected data will be transmitted to a microcontroller and the microcontroller digitizer the analog data.

CONCLUSION

Eye based control will be the future of all types of device
control, thus making the operation so comfortable and much
easier with less human presence. Several risk operations can
be easily performed with this type of application and further
research and study on these areas will create a new trend of
interacting with machines. Hence, a system to monitor fatigue
by detecting eye blink & head movement was developed
using self developed algorithms.
