Harris Jayaraj gets Lifetime achievement award
Popular music composer Harris Jayaraj has been awarded with a Lifetime achievement award from the Rotary Club of Chennai. The function happened here in Chennai on Wednesday.
Tamil Nadu's Governor Rosaiah honored Harris Jayaraj with the award and also lauded Rotary Club on its charitable work.
Earlier Harris recalled his dad's encouragement to take up music when he was 12 and dedicated the award to his parents.
Harris Jayaraj has composed nearly 40 albums in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
