What would you presume when you hear “Nambiar” ? Terrifying, vicious, cunning, sly smile and yes what an outstanding actor. So when a movie with this name is being made, the expectations would be to do justice to the legendary name indeed. And that’s exactly what the team of Nambiarare trying to do with Srikanth and Santhanam in the lead cast.
Touted to be a sci-fi comedy flick, the film will see Srikanth and Santhanam sharing equal screen space and provide comic relief for its run time. Directed by Ganeshaa who was an associate of ace director Rajamouli who gave hit films in telugu and NaanEe in Tamil. So the opulence that Rajamouli carried on should be felt in his disciple as well.
The original plan of the director was to rope in Vijay Antony as the protagonist; however the musician backed out due to prior commitments, but agreed to compose music for the film. So the movie landed in Srikanth’s hands, who is also producing this flick under the banner “Golden Friday Films”. Comedy king Santhanam will be seen sharing the screen with Srikanth not as a friend, but as an alter ego of Srikanth who takes up the critical thinking of the decisive mind, in short he is Srikanth!.
The attempt is something unique in every aspect with Santhanam taking steps to even croon a song for Vijay Antony’s composition and this is the probably the first time the comedian cum actor has lent his voice for a full length song. Sunaina plays the heroine of this movie and the rest of the cast include John Vijay, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, Vanitha and Delhi Ganesh as well. The film is also no short of star cameos with Arya,Vijay Antony and ParvathyOmanakuttan making their brief presence felt in various parts of the flick.
Vijay Antony who was supposed to be the original lead, has given away some interesting numbers for this film with Santhanam’s drunkard song and a couple of other quirky numbers, and the composer is always known to have penned the best in BGM without a doubt. So there are numerous elements in this movie like the storyline, Ganesh;s direction, the cast and music which is to make this movie in the list of must watch. So not far away folks!!.
