Eating food in plastic plates can cause kidney stones
A latest research has shown that eating hot food in plastic plates can be risky for health. It can lead to kidney stones at later stage of your life. The crockery made up of melamine or plastic which people often uses while going out on holiday or in a picnic are not suitable for eating hot meals as it is found that the hot temperature of food increases the amount of melamine which can badly affect kidney health.
The research was conducted at Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan. The study included two groups of people who were given hot soups to eat.The first group uses the melamine bowl and the second one uses ceramic bowls to eat the soup.Urine sample of both the group was collected before the meal after every 2 hours for continuous 12 hours of time period.
After 3 weeks of time ,same people were given the soup again but now the type of the bowls were reversed for both group.Samples of urine collected again.
Results of the whole process showed that the total amount of melamine in urine was found to be 8.35 micro grams in case of people who ate from melamine bowl while the another group who ate from ceramic bowl had 1.3 micro-grams amount of melamine in their urine samples.
The lead researcher Chia Fang Wu said that when any kind of hot food is served in melamine bowls or plates, it gets contaminated by the melamine immediately and thus increases the risk of developing kidney stones. However the degree of contamination differ from one brand to another.Low quality melamine crockery is more harmful compared to high quality kitchenware.
To be on the safe side it is suggested that ceramic crockery should be used to serve hot food.

Deep-fried food increases risk of prostrate cancer
If you are a french fries lover or you can not live without fried chicken or fried fish, then you should hold yourself as you may be heading for a trouble that leads to prostrate cancer.A new study suggested that eating deep fried foods regularly or in excess may lead to life threatening prostrate cancer.
The co-director of Hutchinson Center, Janet L. Stanford and his team found that people who consume fried food like french fries, fried chicken or fried fish once a week are more vulnerable of developing prostrate cancer as compared to people who used to eat such foods very less or once in a month.
The study was done by diagnosing 1500 men who were suffering from prostrate cancer and another group of 1500 men who were not suffering from prostrate cancer. Both the groups were discussed about their eating habits.Men who said that they consume fried food once a week were about 30-40 percent are more exposed to the prostrate cancer as compared to men who ate fried food once in a month.
The study was also supported by the U.S National Cancer Institute. The reason behind the increased risk is given by the fact that when the oil is heated to high degrees of temperature, the carcinogenic compounds are formed in the fried food. These carcinogenic compounds include toxic elements such as acrylamide, aldehyde, acrolein andf polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons which possibly increases in amount every time the oil is reused and fried for longer time.
Food which are cooked at high degrees of temperature contains high level of glycation end products which can cause high oxidative stress and intense inflammation in the body that leads to health disorders like prostrate cancer.

3.Pregnant women must try not to suffer from any of the feet problem, because this will make them consume several medicines which can be hazardous for the baby.
4.Avoid standing in one position continuously for more than an hour. Do not sit with folded legs as well as avoid hard sided chairs.
5.Working pregnant women can shake their legs in between of their legs in order to avoid leg pain. Try to take a walk in between your work.
6.In winters do not use hot water for bathing and avoid sitting in the sun for a long time. Veins of the legs becomes large in size because of the heat which causes the collection of impure blood in the veins.
7.If there is a sudden swelling in the legs then immediately go to a hospital where a vascular surgeons around the clock are available.

Abnormal nature of genes may cause early menopause
The study conducted at UC San Francisco showed that women who used to do lot of smoking can experience an early menopause compared to non-smoker women.Researchers said that some more and thorough study is needed to examine the given size and demographics of the fact so that women with abnormal alterations in the genes would be advised to bear child earlier in their life with suitable medical treatments.
The senior author Mitchell Rosen, MD and Director of UCSF Fertility Preservation Center said that the study showed that alteration in these genes is purely linked to early menopause which increases the risk of infertility in women. The genes change their nature in such a manner that they do not allow a proper environment in the women’s body to bear a child. Thus conceiving becomes a major problem due to early menopause.
Change in nature of BCRA 1 or BCRA 2 may also cause other harmful health disorders such as ovarian cancer or breast cancer. The National Cancer Institute has also confirmed that one of the most common cause of developing breast cancer is the abnormal genes change in women.
The study included 400 females who carries mutation in their BCRA genes. When these 765 women are compared to the onset of other women without mutation in the same geographic area, it was found that most of the females were white because almost all females carrying BCRA 1 or BCRA 2 within UCSF cancer risk registry were white.
Researchers also found that females who are under high risk of mutation experiences menopause early at an age of 50 yrs compared to other women.Women who are heavy chain smokers reach menopause even more early at an approximate age of 45 years.
The study is published in Cancer online.
